Esprit Place Family Resource Centre has been a trusted lifeline for women and children in the District of Parry Sound since 1986. Operated by the District of Parry Sound Social Services Administration Board (DSSAB), we provide compassionate, confidential, and free services to those in crisis.

Our mission is to offer a safe, supportive environment where individuals can find refuge, rebuild their lives, and access the resources they need to thrive. Whether you're seeking emergency shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, or community support, our dedicated team is here to help.

Our Services Include:

• Emergency Shelter: A 10-bed facility offering safe and secure accommodation for women and children fleeing violence or in crisis. Esprit Place

• 24/7 Crisis Support: Immediate assistance through our crisis line at 1-800-461-1707 or 705-746-4800. Esprit Place

• Counseling & Advocacy: Individual and group counseling, legal support, and assistance with safety planning and accessing community resources. Esprit Place

• Children’s Voices Program: Support for children who have witnessed or experienced domestic violence. Esprit Place

• Outreach & Transitional Supports: Services to help individuals transition to stable housing and independent living. Esprit Place
